The Custom Mother's Day staff has had the pleasure of working with numerous headliners and orchestras around the world. Lee Durley, composer, lyricist, and vocalist, brings years of experience in R & B, jazz, rock, gospel, and easy listening. Kathleen Ebright Tarp, lyricist and vocalist, spent years on the road with the Serendipity Singers and various other show groups.

Members of the Custom Mother's Day staff include lyricists and recording artists with extensive stage and recording experience. The finest California Central Coast recording studios provide the latest, most innovative digital computer technology available. Each CD is recorded, engineered and mixed with the finest equipment available, employing excellent sound technicians such as Richard Bryant, formerly with the Doobie Brothers. Custom Mother's Day Songs has the honor of working with some of the best recording engineers in California who have worked with Chaka Kahn, Pablo Cruise, jazz legend Bruce Forman, and many others.

Kathleen Tarp - Principal Vocalist/Lyricist/Founder

Kathleen Ebright Tarp has a long musical history that includes starring at San Francisco's Circle Star Theatre, performing with many headliners around the world such as Lou Rawls, Bob Hope, the Kingston Trio, and Victor Borge. She has recorded numerous albums and appeared in countless television specials filmed throughout the United States and Canada with the Serendipity Singers. She traveled extensively for over ten years on the road with the Serendipity Singers and her own group performing throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Far East. Kathleen developed Song Legacy.com in 1999, combining her talents of rich vocals, graphic arts design skills, and business savvy to produce custom songs which have enriched customer's lives around the world. She owns website SongLegacy.com and the associated sites, CustomMothersDaySongs.com, CustomWeddingSongs.com, CustomAnniversarySongs.com, and CustomBirthdaySongs.com.

The most thrilling accomplishment of Kathleen's life has been to draw together the talents of extraordinary musicians, vocalists, lyricists, composers, and computer technicians available to bring SongLegacy.com to a rousing crescendo!

Lee Durley - Principal Composer/Lyricist/Vocalist

Lee Durley, who has had multiple appearances at the world famous Monterey Jazz Festival, has been pleasing fans for decades with his rich vocal stylings and musicianship. His vocal texture has been compared to Lou Rawls, Nat King Cole, and Joe Williams. Durley has performed at clubs, festivals, and special events all over the West Coast, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, as well as several successful European tours including featured performances at the Marciac and Avignon Jazz Festivals in France.

Lee spends much of his time procuring and working with top name talents such as B.B. King, The Neville Brothers, Etta James, Ruth Brown, Buddy Guy and a multitude of others for the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, where he is a long time member of the Board of Directors.

Pami Durley - Principal Lyricist

Pami Durley has been writing lyrics professionally for over 25 years. She believes a song is not just a song...it is an experience which affects people and can represent a special part of their lives. She excels in finding the essence of what clients want to say in personalized songs, always realizing just how important this song will be to them for the rest of their lives. Pami feels that working with Song Legacy and writing custom lyrics for clients throughout the world has allowed her to connect to a bigger part of the universe by sharing common experiences and feelings.

Pami loves all kinds of music, from gospel to country to jazz. Raising 3 children and being grandmother to 4 has given her the insight necessary to create lyrics that are rich, meaningful, and real.

Pami and Lee, who work as a team, are to Song Legacy what Ashford and Simpson are to MOTOWN!

Richard Bryant - Vocalist

The Doobie Brothers, Little River Band, Chaka Kahn, and Pablo Cruise are just a few of the bands Richard has toured with throughout the years. Possessing one of the most remarkable voices on the planet, his distinct and soulful voice has graced countless albums in rock, funk, R&B, and smooth jazz genres.

Richard is a lead vocalist for "The White Album Ensemble," a group of extraordinary musicians who have played with the Doobie Brothers, Larry Hosford Band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Lacy J Dalton, Average White Band, Sons of Champlin, and It's A Beautiful Day, and have sold out over 15 concerts in theatres - performing the Beatles' "White Album" music, which was never performed live by the Beatles. The 8 extraordinary musicians, who have spent months and months rehearsing, now perform The White Album, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour albums, note for note, with 8 to 15 piece ensembles, as well as symphony accompaniment. They've raised over $20,000 for music in the schools in Santa Cruz, and Guitars, not Guns, a non-profit, non-violent organization.

Roger Eddy - Composer/Jazz Saxophonist

Roger Eddy is known for his "sax appeal, saxfistication, and saxvoirfaire"! The composer, flautist, and jazz saxophone player has performed with Huey Lewis, Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Vince Gill, Lou Rawls, The Gatlin Brothers Band, Frankie Valli, and many more. His band has opened for the Pointer Sisters, Spyro-Gyra, Tom Scott, Toto, and Larry Carlton, to name just a few. He has toured with the Robben Ford Blues Band and headlined with the Carla Bley Big Band at the 2005 Monterey Jazz Festival. His smooth jazz compositions have received national airplay and he is the epitome of the quintessential musician's musician who can play anything from rock to jazz to classical.

Pat McAnaney - Lyricist/Vocalist

Pat has been a composer and lyricist for many years with his latest works including an Italian operetta and a Country-Western song entitled "Cowgirl's Lament," a parody of Brokeback Mountain. He has an uncanny gift of being able to extract the essence of a person's life and come up with definitive lyrics which express their story. Known for his quick wit and brilliant mind, he is proficient in delighting audiences with one-man shows that range from the history of vaudeville to the history of Ireland. He is the only person, we believe, who can recite every single campaign song of every President of the United States...from memory!

Song Legacy considers it a blessing to be able to call upon Pat for his expertise in writing humorous, touching, and poignant lyrics for its custom song clients. He is fluent in Spanish and specializes in our Quinceanera custom songs. His incredible tenor voice, reminiscent of "The Irish Tenors," adds a richness and warmth to all his recordings, winning the hearts of young and old alike!

MaryLee Sunseri - Composer/Lyricist/Vocalist

Singer-songwriter MaryLee Sunseri is the winner of 4 Parents' Choice Awards and 2 American Library Association Notable Children's Recordings. Her credits include performing the title song to Walt Disney's "Apple Dumpling Gang," Mattel Toys' "See 'N Say," touring America as a member of "Randy Sparks & The Back Porch Majority" and many concert appearances with the legendary Burl Ives. She received her certificate of study in Musical Theatre from London Drama School with distinction in singing.

Evelyn Starr - Web Designer/Webmaster/Graphic Artist

Our Web Designer and Webmaster, Evelyn Starr, is an essential member of the Song Legacy team. For over seven years she has designed and maintained the Song Legacy websites (SongLegacy.com, CustomMothersDaySongs.com, CustomWeddingSongs.com, CustomAnniversarySongs.com, and CustomBirthdaySongs.com), always striving to give the visitor an entertaining and satisfying experience viewing and listening to the graphic and audio samples of our products. She is also a member of the Graphics Design team that creates our CD covers, CD labels and lyric sheets.
